I grew up in front of the television. Seriously. And it wasn’t because I had terrible parents who neglected me. In fact, it was the complete opposite. I thank my parents every day for encouraging me to absorb as much film and television content as I wanted. At a very early age, I was introduced to classics films such The Godfather, Godfather II, The Goonies, Romancing the Stone, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Pee Wee Herman’s Big Adventure, and Edward Scissorhands (just to name a few). I was also allowed to stay up late to watch Nick at Nite reruns such as Mr. Ed, Green Acres, I Love Lucy, Laverne & Shirley, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Dick Van Dyke. I LOVE TV and I LOVE movies. Now – flash forward to present day – where we live in a world where binging an entire show in one Saturday afternoon is totally normal. I love it. Yes, I’m probably not in as good of shape as I could be, but its my hobby and my passion. Its my favorite form of art. I believe that all the mysteries of the universe, and the answers to all of life’s questions, can be found in an amazing film or tv episode.
This website is a passion project of mine. It’s a combination of my two favorite things: my love of film & television and my love of travel. Most of the trips I take are centered around filming locations, so think of this website as an extremely nerdy travel journal. Hopefully other fangirls or fanboys will enjoy the ridiculousness of this world as much as I do. Enjoy! 😉
